IT Technician (Remote, Based in Ireland)

We are a remote-first company looking for an IT Technician to support our team with day-to-day IT operations in a modern, cloud-first environment. While this is a remote role, you must be based in Ireland to align with our local hiring requirements. You will work closely with colleagues across the company, helping ensure that systems, devices, and access are secure, reliable, and easy to use.

Responsibilities

• Support users with hardware, software, and remote working issues
• Manage and support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
• Handle identity and device management using Microsoft Entra
• Configure and maintain SSO solutions using SAML and OpenID
• Administer and support Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Ensure good security practices across devices, accounts, and services
• Troubleshoot access, authentication, and device-related issues
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees
• Document setups, processes, and common issues

Requirements

• Experience working with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Experience with identity and device management, especially Microsoft Entra
• Good understanding of SSO concepts such as SAML and OpenID
• Solid general hardware knowledge (laptops, peripherals, basic networking)
• Strong troubleshooting skills, especially for remote users
• Good understanding of IT security principles and best practices
• Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
• Clear communication skills and a service-minded attitude

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure and related services
• Experience with automation or scripting for IT tasks
• Previous experience supporting a fully remote or distributed team
