About Scape
Scape is a creative platform where players and creators come together to build and explore interactive worlds. Our goal is to make it easy for anyone to turn ideas into playable experiences and share them with a global community. We’re developing the technology that powers this next generation of user-created content, combining tools for world-building, multiplayer experiences, and community-driven growth into a single, evolving ecosystem. At Scape, we value curiosity, creativity, and technical excellence. Whether you’re crafting tools, optimizing performance, or helping shape how creators bring their worlds to life, you’ll be part of building something that connects imagination with technology in new ways.
Your role
As a Senior Unity Developer at Scape, you’ll help shape the core technology that powers user-created content and interactive worlds. You’ll work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and vision keepers to build systems that enable creators to bring their ideas to life and allow players to experience and enjoy their creations.
This role blends technical depth with practical problem-solving. You’ll design and build new features, develop the tools and systems that make Scape possible, and contribute to the foundation that keeps Scape evolving as a living, creator-driven platform.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and optimize core Unity systems and tools that power Scape.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on simplicity and reliability.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, bottlenecks, and bugs across the stack.
- Stay current with Unity advancements and emerging industry trends to help shape Scape’s technology forward.
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of professional experience with Unity and C#.
- You’re confident working with Unity’s core features and know how to get the most out of the engine.
- You’ve shipped commercial products or games built in Unity.
- You take ownership of systems from concept to deployment and care about building things that last.
- You have experience beyond Unity, whether with other technologies, engines, or systems.
- You’re comfortable working in a collaborative, agile environment with cross-disciplinary teams.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Bonus points if you have experience with multiplayer systems, mobile platforms, or consoles.
What we offer
- A competitive salary that matches your experience and impact.
- Fully remote position with set core working hours for efficient collaboration. Depending on your location, this can mean direct employment in Sweden or Ireland, or a similar arrangement if you are based in another country.
- The opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology alongside a talented team of industry veterans.
- A space to grow, learn, and spread your wings - we value curiosity and personal development as much as technical skills.
We’re excited to hear from you!
